Between
1987, and 1999 when the awards were last held, Mark Sanders enjoyed
outstanding success in Australia’s most prestigious jewellery
design awards, the bi-annual De Beers Diamond Facets Design
Awards.
In 1987, the first year that he entered, Mark won a Diploma of Honour
for a gent’s ring design.
He followed this up on no fewer than four later occasions with National
Finalist designs in 1989 and 1997 in the categories Coloured Diamonds
(a champagne diamond solitaire), Woman’s Diamonds (a baguette
diamond lapel pin), Solitaire (a lady’s single stone diamond
ring), and Towards 2000 (a futuristic gold and titanium pendant/brooch
depicting the Southern Cross).
Mark’s design pedigree is very much in evidence in our superb
range of contemporary and classic jewellery. They are a little different
from what you will find in the average “mass market”
jewellery store with designs that have a simplicity that is both
timeless and beautiful.
Mark also delights in being able to sit down and discuss designing
a piece of jewellery especially for you that reflects your individuality
and style.
